Ingredients

  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 12 cup dried apricot, finely chopped
  • 14 cup raisins
  • 14 cup slivered almonds
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 12 teaspoons dried orange peel
  • 14 teaspoon onion powder
  • 18 teaspoon clove powder (optional)
  • 14 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in a bowl, stir to blend, store in an air tight jar.

    To Make: In a medium pot bring 2 cups water, 1/2 cup chicken stock and 2 tablespoons butter or margarine to boil.

    Add Fruited Rice mix and reduce heat to simmering.

    Cook 20-25 minutes until rice is cooked and water is absorbed.
