  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can cream style corn
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 lb. hamburger meat, cooked but not browned
  • 1 (8 oz.) colby cheese, grated
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • jalapeno peppers, diced (as desired)

Directions

    Mix cornmeal, egg, creamed corn and milk.

    Add 1 lb. cooked (not browned) hamburger meat, cheese, onion and peppers.

    Mix thoroughly.

    Pour into a hot oiled iron skillet and bake 25 to 30 minutes at 425 to 450°.

    Serves 6-8.
