  • 1 med onion chopped
  • 3/4 lb sharp cheddar cheese-grated
  • 1 1/2 c self-rising corn meal
  • 1 1/2 c milk
  • 1/2 c oil
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1 can whole kernel corn-drained
  • 1 16 oz jar salsa-hot
