- 1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
- 1 small can creamed corn
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 large bell pepper, chopped
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 2 or 3 jalapeno peppers, chopped
- 2 c. grated sharp cheese
- 2/3 c. cooking oil
- few shakes garlic powder
Directions

1Mix all ingredients together, except cheese.

2Pour 1/2 of mixture into large greased skillet (heated).

3Put 1/2 of cheese on top.

4Put remaining mixture in with rest of cheese on top.

5Bake in 350° oven for 55 minutes.
