  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 6 slices bacon, cut in 1-inch pieces
  • 1 (16 oz.) can garbanzo beans, drained
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen lima beans
  • 1 (8 oz.) can pork and beans in tomato sauce
  • 1 (8 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1/4 c. vinegar

Directions

    In skillet, cook onion and bacon until bacon is crisp and onion is tender, but not brown.

    Drain.

    In a 1 1/2-quart casserole, combine onion mixture, garbanzo beans, lima beans, pork and beans, kidney beans, brown sugar, catsup and vinegar.

    Bake, covered, in a 375° oven for 1 hour.

    Uncover and cook 10 minutes more or until desired consistency.
