- 1 c. self-rising cornmeal
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 to 1 c. onions
- 1 (7 oz.) can yellow creamed corn
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 2/3 c. oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. grated cheese
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cayenne red pepper
Directions

1Combine cornmeal and flour.

2Mix well.

3Add 1/2 to 1 cup onions.

4Add creamed corn, sugar, eggs, grated cheese, oil and cayenne pepper.

5Add milk.

6Mix well with spoon.

7Pour into greased pan.

8Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until golden brown.

9Let set one hour before serving.
