- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. cream-style corn
- 4 to 6 oz. grated cheese
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 pods hot pepper, chopped
Directions

1Mix all but cheese. Pour half in a greased pan.

2Spread cheese over top and then cover with rest of the mix.

3Bake at 350° until golden brown.

4(I usually double this recipe for a 9 x 13-inch pan and I mix the cheese up in the whole mixture.)
