- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 large diced onion
- 1 large diced green pepper
- 1 1/2 c. plain cornmeal
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c. Wesson oil
- 1 large can cream-style corn
- 2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. sour cream
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Brown hamburger, onion and green pepper, then drain.

2In a large mixing bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients and mix well.

3Pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased sheet pan.

4Bake 45 minutes at 425°.

5Remove from oven and place small butter pats over entire top of cornbread.

6Cover with foil and bake 15 additional minutes at same temperature.
