  • 1 1/2 c. meal
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 c. corn
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 1 can chopped green chilies

Directions

    Combine dry ingredients; add milk, egg and oil.

    Mix just until dry ingredients are moist.

    Stir in cheese, chilies and corn.

    Pour into a greased 8 or 9-inch pan and bake at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes.
