- 1 c. yellow corn meal
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 can cream style corn
- 1/2 c. bacon drippings
- 1 lb. ground meat
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 lb. cheese or 8 slices Kraft singles
Directions

1Mix cornmeal, eggs, milk, soda, salt, corn and drippings. Saute 1 pound ground meat.

2Brown and drain.

3Pour half the batter on heated greased skillet.

4Sprinkle evenly with cheese, meat and onion.

5Pour rest of batter on top.

6Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350°.
