- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 10 oz. spaghetti or vermicelli
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained and cut up
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
Directions

1In large skillet, heat oil.

2Add spaghetti, onion and garlic. Cook and stir until spaghetti is browned.

3Stir in tomatoes, water, chilies, salt and cumin.

4Bring to a boil.

5Reduce heat; simmer covered until liquid is absorbed and spaghetti is tender, about 10 minutes.

6Serve immediately.

7Makes 6 to 8 servings.
