Mexican Fruit Salad

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup cold water
- 2 apples, chopped (any variety)
- 1 orange, peeled and cut segments in half
- 1 tangerine, peeled and cut segments in half
- 1 banana, peeled and cut
Directions

1In a large saucepan, cook sugar, cornstarch, nutmeg and water over medium fire.

2Stir constantly until it becomes thick.

3Let sauce cool about 10-15 minutes.

4Put chopped fruit in a large bowl.

5Pour sauce on top of fruit.

6Stir and chill about 3 - 4 hours.
