- 1 c. water
- 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. picante
- 12 corn tortillas
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 3/4 c. ripe olives, sliced
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 16 oz. sour cream
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Combine water and 2 tablespoons picante in shallow dish. Place tortillas in mixture and let stand 5 minutes.

2Drain.

3Cook ground beef with onion until brown.

4Drain.

5Stir in salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, olives and remaining picante. Simmer 5 minutes.

6Melt butter in saucepan; add flour until smooth.

7Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly until thick and bubbly.

8Remove from heat.

9Add sour cream and stir until well blended.

10Place 1/2 of tortillas in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

11Pour 1/2 sour cream mixture over tortillas, then 1/2 meat mixture and then 1/2 cheese.

12Repeat with remaining ingredients.

13Bake at 375° for 25 minutes.
