Mexican Lasagna

  • 1 box pre-cooked lasagna noodles
  • 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 26 oz. jar pasta sauce
  • 4 oz. can chopped green chilies, drained
  • 1/2 c. diced black olives
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. sour cream

Directions

    Brown meat.

    Add onions and cook until onions are clear.

    Stir in seasoning and water; add next 3 ingredients.

    Simmer 10 minutes. Spread about 3/4 cup sauce in a 9 x 13 pan.

    Top with noodles, sauce and cheese.

    Repeat layers.

    Bake uncovered 30 minutes at 350°.

    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

    Serve with sour cream and black olives.
