Ingredients
- 1 (12-inch) round prepared Italian bread shell
- 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 c. salsa
- 2 tsp. beef flavored instant bouillon
- 1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) each shredded Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese
- red and yellow bell pepper slices
- sliced black olives (optional)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°.

2In a large skillet, brown beef, onion and garlic.

3Pour off fat.

4Stir in salsa and bouillon.

5Simmer 5 minutes.

6Place bread shell on a large baking sheet.

7Top with salsa mixture, cheese, sliced peppers and olives.

8Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until cheese melts.

9Refrigerate leftovers.
