- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, diced
- 1 fresh tomato, cubed or 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
Directions

1In large skillet, saute rice in oil until brown.

2Add remaining ingredients and 2 1/4 cups water over and simmer 20 to 25 minutes until rice is tender.
