  • 1/2 c. regular rice
  • 4 bouillon chicken cubes or 4 tsp. bouillon chicken granules
  • 1/2 small chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 1/4 c. water
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Rinse rice twice with water.

    Toast rice until golden brown in pan with oil.

    Stir rice constantly for an even toast.

    Stir in onion.

    Mix in water and tomatoes.

    Mix in rest of ingredients. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes.
