- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (16 oz.) jar salsa
- 1 (11 oz.) can whole kernel corn with red and green pepper
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 1/2 c. uncooked instant rice
- 4 oz. (1 c.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Brown ground beef in large skillet; drain.

2Stir in salsa, corn, water and chili powder; bring to a boil.

3Stir in rice. Cover.

4Remove from heat.

5Let stand 5 to 7 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.

6Fluff mixture with fork; sprinkle with cheese.

7Cover and let stand 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
