Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans chicken broth
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 large potatoes, diced
  • 2 to 3 cans water
  • 1/2 lb. Mexican mild Velveeta cheese
  • 1/2 lb. plain Velveeta cheese

Directions

    Pour broth and water together in 3-quart pan.

    Add potatoes, onion, celery and tomatoes.

    While this is cooking, cook ground beef and drain.

    When all is tender, add Velveeta cheese and stir until melted.

    Do not boil after adding cheese.

    Do not add any salt or pepper as cheese has enough.
