- 2 lb. round steak, cut into small pieces and all fat trimmed off
- Crisco or lard
- salt, pepper and garlic powder
- 1 onion
- 1/2 green pepper
- 1 stalk celery
- 1 pt. tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp. cumin powder
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Brown steak good in Crisco or lard.

2Add salt, pepper and garlic powder while browning meat.

3Add onion, green pepper and celery, cut up.

4Saute real good.

5Add tomatoes, cumin powder and water after meat is browned.

6Simmer 20 minutes.

7Add more water if needed.

8Serve over cooked rice.
