Mexican Taquitos

- 1 pkg. corn tortillas (amount you want)
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 block Mozzarella cheese
- 1 jar picante sauce
- 1 c. oil or shortening
Directions

1Cook ground beef in skillet.

2Drain fat.

3Set aside.

4Warm tortillas in microwave, wrap in tea towel.

5Put one teaspoonful of beef into tortilla, roll and secure with toothpick.

6Make up enough to fry in skillet of hot oil.

7When lightly browned, drain on paper towels.

8Make as many as you like!

9Place on cookie sheet, closely. Remove toothpicks.

10Spoon picante sauce over each taquito, then sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.

11Bake in 350° oven until cheese melts.

12Serve hot or cold.
