- 3 qt. popped corn (1/2 c. kernels)
- 1 1/2 c. peanuts (optional)
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Pop corn in air popper.

2Place popcorn and peanuts in double brown grocery bag; set aside.

3Combine sugar, butter, syrup and salt in glass bowl.

4Microwave on High 3 to 4 minutes, stirring after each minute, until mixture boils.

5Microwave 2 minutes more. Stir in soda.

6Pour syrup mixture over popcorn in bag.

7Close bag; shake well.

8Microwave 1 1/2 minutes on High; shake. Microwave 1 1/2 minutes on High; shake.

9Pour into roasting pan. Cool to separate.
