- 1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 c. white corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 qt. popped corn
Directions

1Combine margarine, sugar, corn syrup and salt in large (2-quart) bowl.

2Microwave on High until mixture begins to boil. Cook for 4 minutes, stirring 3 times.

3Add baking soda and vanilla; stir.

4Put the popped corn in unrecycled grocery sack. Pour mixture over corn and stir.

5Cook for 1 1/2 minutes in microwave; shake sack hard.

6Cook for 15 seconds.

7Nuts may be added in the last 15 seconds.
