- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 to 2 qt. popped popcorn
Directions

1Pop corn.

2In pan, combine all other ingredients, except soda and popcorn.

3Bring to boil.

4Continue to boil for 2 minutes. Stir in baking soda.

5Put popped corn in brown paper bag.

6Pour syrup over corn; shake gently.

7Microwave 1 1/2 minutes on High. Shake.

8Microwave 1 1/2 minutes more.

9Pour onto flat pan to cool. Mixture will be very hot.
