- 1 c. unpopped popcorn
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Pop 1 cup unpopped popcorn.

2In saucepan, melt margarine, brown sugar, light corn syrup and salt.

3Boil 4 minutes, stirring constantly, while at rolling boil.

4Remove from heat.

5Add baking soda and vanilla, mixing well.

6Put popped popcorn into brown grocery bag.

7Pour in caramel mixture and stir well.

8Fold over end of bag and place in microwave.

9Microwave for 1 minute on High power (100%).

10Remove bag and shake it vigorously.
-
11Repeat this 2 more times.

12Pour onto cookie sheet and break apart when cooler. Store in plastic container.
