  • 2 2/3 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 3 egg whites
  • pinch of salt
  • 3/4 c. unsalted nuts

Directions

    Combine sugar, corn syrup and water in a 2-quart glass measure or microproof bowl.

    Cook on High for 12 to 15 minutes or until microwave candy thermometer registers 260° (a small amount of mixture will form a ball hard enough to hold its shape, but will remain pliable when dropped into bowl of cold water).
