Microwave Fudge

Ingredients

  • 380 ml condensed milk
  • 500 ml caster sugar
  • 125 g margarine
  • 1 tablespoon golden syrup
  • 5 ml caramel essence

Directions

    1. Combine condensemilk, castor sugar, margarine and golden syrup in a microwavable bowl (leave out caramel essence).

    2. Place bowl in the microwave on high for 11-12 minutes (Stir every 3 minutes).

    4. Mixture is ready when it is bubbling and pulling away from the sides of the bowl. Add in the caramel essence and stir quickly.

    5. Por the mixture into a shallow, greased container (preferably a square baking tin).

    6. Leave to stand for awhile to cool down before cutting.
