Microwave Peach Jam

  • 4 c. frozen sliced unsweetened peaches
  • 1 pkg. powdered fruit pectin
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ascorbic acid
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Directions

    Mash peaches; combine with all ingredients in deep 2 quart casserole.

    Cover; microwave on High 2 minutes.

    Stir and cover; microwave 3 to 4 minutes or until boils for 1 minute.

    Remove. Stir 2 minutes.

    Pour into freezer container.

    Cover and freeze. Thaw to serve.

    Store in freezer up to 1 year; in refrigerator 1 month.
