Microwave Scalloped Potatoes

  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 c. milk
  • 3 1/2 to 4 c. sliced potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onions

    Melt butter in microwave.

    Blend in flour and seasonings. Microwave 8 to 10 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes.

    Layer 1/2 of potatoes, onions and sauce in a greased casserole.

    Repeat layers. Cover and microwave 17 to 19 minutes, stirring after 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
