  • 4 lb. ground chuck
  • 3 large onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c. green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cans (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cans (28 oz.) tomato puree
  • 5 cans (16 oz.) kidney beans (light or dark), drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 6 envelopes chili seasoning mix
  • 3 cans (28 oz.) water

    Brown ground chuck and onions in skillet; discard grease. Mix all ingredients in large cooking pot and simmer for 2 hours or until thoroughly cooked and blended. Serves 10.
