- 1 lb butter, softened
- 3 cups sugar
- 6 eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions

1Cream the butter; gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed of an electric mix until light and fluffy.

2Add the eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

3Add the flour to butter mixture alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.

4Mix after each addition.

5Stir in almond and vanilla extracts.

6Pour the batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.

7Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 40 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.

8Cool in pan for 10 to 15 minutes.

9Remove to wire rack.

10Cool completely.
