  • 1 3/4 c. prepared mincemeat or 1 (9 oz.) pkg.
  • 2 c. thinly sliced apples
  • 1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • pastry for 2-crust pie

Directions

    Line a 9-inch pie plate with pastry.

    Combine all ingredients; mix well.

    Spread in pastry shell.

    Top with second crust; seal edges and crimp.

    Bake at 400° for 35 minutes.
