- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/4 c. rolled oats
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 2 c. prepared mincemeat to which you have added about 4 oz. good brandy
Directions

1Combine sugar, oats, flour and salt; mix well. Cut in shortening to the consistency of coarse crumbs.

2Spread half of this mixture in shallow pan (7 x 11 x 2-inch). Cover with mincemeat.

3Spread with remaining half of mixture on top.
