  • 12 each vanilla wafers
  • 23 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling

Directions

    Place wafers, flat side down, on bottom of each of 12 paper-lined muffin cups.

    Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.

    Add eggs; mix just until blended.

    DO NOT OVERBEAT AFTER ADDING EGGS.

    Pour over wafers, filling each cup.

    Bake at 325F (160C).

    for 30 minutes.

    Cool before removing from pan.

    Refrigerate several hours or overnight.

    Top with fruit just before serving.
