- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. peppermint
- green food coloring
- chocolate bits
Directions

1Beat egg whites with cream of tartar.

2Gradually add sugar. Beat until stiff.

3Add peppermint and some green food coloring. Place about a teaspoon meringue on a foil covered cookie sheet. Put 3 chocolate bits on top of the meringue.

4Then put another dab of meringue on top of chocolates to hide them.

5Makes 24 cookies. Heat oven to 350°, but turn oven off when the cookie sheets are put in oven.

6Let set overnight.
