"Mississippi Mud"

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 (3 1/2 oz.) can coconut
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (13 oz.) jar Marshmallow Creme (could use 2 jars)

Directions

    Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Combine all ingredients, except Marshmallow Creme, and mix well.

    Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.

    Leave in pan and, while hot, spread Marshmallow Creme on cake.

    Put back in oven; watch closely.

    When marshmallow is running smooth, take out (only takes a few minutes).

    Let cake cool and spread with Betty Crocker canned frosting.
