  • 1 gal. cooked green beans, cooled
  • 1 gal. cut off corn, cooked before cutting off
  • 2 gal. chopped cabbage
  • 8 to 10 green tomatoes, chopped
  • 8 to 10 red and green sweet peppers
  • salt (canning)
  • vinegar

Directions

    Chop cabbage, tomatoes and peppers together.

    Add corn and beans.
  3. 3
    Pack into quart jars.

    Add 1 tablespoon salt and 1 teaspoon vinegar per quart jar.

    Fill with cold water.

    Seal and store in cool place.

    Makes 17 to 20 quarts.
