Ingredients

  • 5 sq. (5 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1/3 c. butter or margarine
  • 2/3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 c. coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts
  • Coffee Glaze

Directions

    In a small heavy saucepan, melt chocolate with butter or margarine over low heat; cool.

    Combine next 3 ingredients; set aside.

    Beat eggs and sugar at medium speed until light.

    Beat in chocolate mixture and vanilla extract.

    Stir in flour mixture, cracker crumbs and nuts.

    Pour into a greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bake in a preheated 350° oven 40 to 45 minutes.

    Glaze while hot. When cold, cut into squares using a sharp knife.
