  • 23 cup all-purpose flour
  • 12 teaspoon baking powder
  • 18 teaspoon salt
  • 12 ounces dark chocolate or 12 ounces semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 12 cup butter, cut up
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 12 cups pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 1 12 cups hazelnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or 1 cup milk chocolate chips

    Preheat the oven to 325 F.

    Prepared baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

    Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler over barely simmering water.

    Beat the eggs and sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer at high speed until pale and thick.

    Beat in the chocolate mixture, coffee granules, and vanilla.

    Mix the dry ingredients, pecans, hazelnuts, and chocolate chips

    Drop tbs of the dough 3 inches apart onto the cookie sheet.
