- 8 ounces butter cookies crumbled
- 9 tablespoons butter melted
- 14 ounces condensed milk
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- 5 ounces pecans halved lengthwise
- 5 ounces macadamia nuts halved
- 2 ounces dark chocolate melted
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease and line an 8 x 10 inch baking dish, extending paper 1 inch above edges on long sides. For the pastry base, process cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form. Add melted butter and pulse to combine. Press firmly into pan.

2For the topping, combine condensed milk, brown sugar and golden syrup in a medium saucepan. Stir over low heat 8-10 mins, until golden. Stir in nuts and pour on to pastry base. Bake 8-10 mins, until golden. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Drizzle with melted chocolate and cut into rectangles to serve.
