- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. sharp cheese, shredded
- 8 slices day old bread, cubed
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. butter, melted
- pepper (if desired)
Directions

1Beat eggs.

2Add milk, salt and pepper.

3In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer bread and cheese.

4Pour egg mixture over bread and cheese. Pour melted butter over top.

5Set in refrigerator overnight.

6Set in pan of water and bake 45 minutes at 350°. Cover with foil for first 30 minutes.
