"Mock" Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz.) can Hunt's Italian tomato sauce
  • 2 c. Mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz. Mueller's elbow macaroni
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 large bay leaf

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    In skillet, combine beef, onion, garlic and green pepper and cook until meat is no longer pink.

    Drain grease.

    In large pan, combine all ingredients, except macaroni, and simmer for 15 to 30 minutes.

    Cook macaroni according to package directions.

    Drain water and add to other ingredients.
