Mock Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 2 c. shredded Mozzarella
  • 1 lb. egg noodles
  • 1 (28 to 30 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 8 oz. chopped, cooked mushroom (optional)
  • 1 chopped, cooked onion (optional)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Spray bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan (or two 8 x 8-inch pans) with Pam.

    Put one or two tablespoons spaghetti sauce on bottom of pan.

    Boil noodles according to directions. Combine softened cream cheese, sour cream and 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce.

    Combine with drained egg noodles.

    Add mushrooms and onions.

    Pour mixture into pan.

    Top with Mozzarella and about 1 to 1 1/2 cups of spaghetti sauce.

    Bake for 20 minutes.

    Serve with remaining spaghetti sauce.
