- 6 slices white bread, cubed
- 4 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 c. molasses
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 2/3 c. scalded milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. golden raisins
- 1/2 pt. heavy cream
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Place bread cubes in buttered 3-quart casserole dish.

3Pour butter over cubes; toss.

4Combine eggs, molasses, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large bowl.

5Gradually stir in milk and vanilla.

6Stir in raisins.

7Pour entire mixture over the bread cubes.

8Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until set.

9Serve warm, drizzled with heavy cream.
