  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. molasses
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 5 qt. popped, plain popcorn

Directions

    Cook first 4 ingredients to a hard crack stage, 260°.

    Add popped corn and stir with a strong wooden mixing spoon quickly. Butter hands frequently; form corn into balls and lay on waxed paper.

    Cool.
