Ingredients

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. Griffin's Corn Syrup
  • 1 c. Griffin's Molasses
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • Griffin's Vanilla or almond extract

Directions

    Place the brown sugar, water, corn syrup, molasses and butter in a large saucepan; stir to blend and cook to 260° on a candy thermometer or to hard ball stage when tested in cold water. Flavor with vanilla or almond.

    Pour onto buttered pan.

    Cool. Pull, cut and wrap.
