- 1 c. sugar
- 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. milk
- 5 egg yolks
- 3/4 c. chopped walnuts
- 1/3 c. Kirschwasser (cherry brandy)
- 2 c. whipping cream
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips (1 c.)

1In a 2-quart saucepan, stir sugar, gelatin and salt until well mixed; gradually stir in

3Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until gelatin is dissolved.

4Add chocolate chips and stir constantly until chocolate is melted.

5Remove from heat.

6In a medium bowl with fork, beat yolks slightly.

7Gradually beat in hot mixture.

8Refrigerate until mixture mounds slightly when dropped from a spoon.
