- 3 c. flour
- 1 1/3 c. lard (solid; do not use Crisco)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 7 or 8 Tbsp. water (cold)
Directions

1Cut lard into flour with a pastry blender until crumbs form. Sprinkle with salt.

2Beat egg well and drizzle on crumbs.

3Add vinegar.

4Stir with fork.

5Drizzle water and stir again with fork until dough comes together to a form a ball.

6Roll out on a floured board to desired size.

7This makes enough dough to form 2 double crust pies.
