Mom's Pink Beans Recipe

- 1 pound pink beans (can use pintos)
- 1/2 pound minced bacon or possibly ham hocks
- 1 lg. onion, minced sm.
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 lid of Granma's Spanish Pepper
- Dash cumin pepper
- 2 or possibly 3 toes of garlic, minced
- 1/2 bell pepper, minced
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
Directions

1Soak beans overnight with no salt.

2Next day, drain water.

3Add in new water to beans sufficient to cover them.

4Cook slowly till tender.

5Add in all the ingredients to beans and simmer till tender.

6Serve with French bread.
