- 1 lb. lean flank or sirloin steak, thinly sliced across grain and cut into 1/2-inch long strips
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. dry sherry
- 1/2 tsp. dried pepper flakes
- 3 Tbsp. peanut oil
- 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp. chopped garlic
- 1 bunch green onions, each cut in 1/2 lengthwise, then cut diagonally in 1-inch long pieces
Directions

1Put meat strips in bowl; add 1 tablespoon soy sauce, next 3 ingredients and 2 tablespoons oil.

2Set aside.

3Mix remaining 1 tablespoon soy sauce with sesame oil; set aside.

4Heat remaining 1 tablespoon oil in uncovered wok at 400°.

5Add garlic; stir-fry 10 seconds.

6Add beef; stir-fry 2 minutes.

7Add onion and sesame oil mixture; stir-fry until heated through, 1 to 2 minutes.

8Serve immediately, over hot cooked rice.
